End Carriage

An end carriage refers to the structure that supports and facilitates the
movement of the crane along the runway beams. Cranes, especially those used in industrial and construction settings, are often equipped with a bridge or trolley that can travel horizontally along a set of parallel runway beams. The end carriage is an essential component at each end of the bridge or trolley.

CAPACITY-1 TON TO 35 TON

The primary function of end trucks is to support the weight of the bridge girder, trolley, and the load being lifted. This is achieved through a robust frame structure and wheels that distribute the load evenly across the runway.

Components of end carriage :
• Frame:- A rigid box Section Or Fabricated plat Or C- Channel That Supports the Girder
• Wheels:- Open type wheel And L- lock Type Wheel
• Drive Units:- Motors And Gearboxes that Power the Movement
• Buffers :- Energy – absorbing Components to prevent hard structural impact at the end of the runway
Types of End Carriages :
1. Top-Running End Carriages
2. OPEN TYPE END CARRIAGES
3. L- BLOCK TYPE END CARRIAGES
4. Underhung (Under-running) End Carriages
